Eurofins CDMO Alphora Biologics Lab

The Hadwen Block Biologics Lab marks a major expansion of Eurofins CDMO Alphora’s biologics development capabilities. Designed and delivered by G architects, the 5,500 sq. ft. retrofit includes a 3,300 sq. ft. pilot-scale biologics lab and analytical services lab, supporting monoclonal antibody research, mammalian-based therapeutics, and early-phase manufacturing.

The project integrated custom benching, biosafety cabinetry, and modular lab systems with targeted structural upgrades to house new Air Handling Units and precision lab infrastructure. Built for flexibility, the lab supports upstream and downstream process development, GMP QC testing, and scale-up production to 200L for pre-clinical and Phase I supply. Advanced mechanical, electrical, and IT systems were embedded to meet strict environmental control requirements while maximizing cost-effective, high-impact design solutions. The project delivers a future-ready biologics lab environment that strengthens Eurofins Alphora’s position as a leader in integrated antibody-drug conjugate development.
